Admin approval is required for daytime sessions but not for after-school sessions. Certificated staff will be paid the non-instructional rate for after school sessions. Teachers are required to secure a sub for their class.

Classified staff will be paid their hourly rate if they attend a session after school; admin approval required if exceeding 40 hours in a week or over 8 hours in a day.

LETRS (Language Essentials for Teachers of Reading and Spelling) is a research-based professional learning series that equips educators with practical strategies grounded in the science of reading—covering phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension.
This is the first year of a comprehensive two year opportunity!
*Please note there are two different cohorts - You must be present for all four dates of one cohort.
To earn certification, participants must complete a 4-day in-person PD series and an online learning component.
Admin approval required.
Great for: Elementary Teachers, Intervention Teachers, RSP Teachers, Instructional Coaches
Dates:
Cohort B: September 9th, October 28th, December 16th, February 3rd.
Cohort C: September 10th, October 29th, December 17th, February 4th.
